We’re in the middle of a pandemic. If you were lucky enough to have kept your job during this time, or if you’re currently looking for a new job, it’s important to carve out a little space at home to dedicate to your work or job search. Here’s a list of 10 work from home essentials that I can’t live without!
1. Bose QuietComfort 35 II
I’m obsessed with these. I can wear them all day without any discomfort. The ear cup cushions are so comfortable! They also come with a built-in microphone so you can answer calls and talk hands-free with ease.
2. Adjustable phone stand
I prop my phone on this while I’m working so that I can see any alerts that come in. I like that the stand allows my phone to be plugged in to its charger while on it!
3. Laptop stand
One of the perks of working from home or being on a laptop is that you can work from the comfort of your own bed or couch! This laptop stand lets you prop up your computer a few inches, providing a more ergonomic position and keeping the bottom of the computer from getting too hot (and burning your lap).
4. iPhone charger (6 feet)
Self-explanatory. Those five-inch chargers that come with your phone just do not cut it sometimes. I love this six-foot one. I never have to worry if it’s going to reach and it’s braided so that it doesn’t break easily.
5. Desk chair
This is the one I use every day. It has built in lumbar support (SO important!) and is cushioned on the seat and the armrests. It’s beautifully made and looks amazing. It also easily cleans up with a Magic Eraser!
6. Desk organizer
I love this little thing. It keeps all my tiny paperclips, Post-Its and pens together. It comes in a million colors to match your décor, and just makes your day a little bit easier.
7. Lined notepad
I love stationery. I have notebooks and pads all over my house, but there’s nothing like a lined notepad to make your lists on. Every morning I list out what I need to get done during the day in order of importance, and check them off one by one.
8. Power strip tower
I sure don’t miss the fluorescent lights at my office. One of the perks of being at home is now I get to work under a daylight bulb, which mimics the sun’s natural light. It’s much less harsh on your eye and helps keep you more alert and productive!

10. Water bottle (64 oz)
Stay hydrated. Drinking enough water throughout the day helps keep your energy up decreases stress on your body caused by dehydration. Nobody wants that!
